Account Deletion

FindMyDarts allows you to delete your account and all associated personal data directly from the app. This page describes the procedure to follow and the data involved, in compliance with Google Play requirements and the GDPR.

How to delete your account

To request the deletion of your FindMyDarts account, follow these steps in the app:

  1. Open the FindMyDarts app and sign in to your account.
  2. Go to the Profile tab, then tap Settings (gear icon).
  3. Scroll down to the GDPR / Personal Data section.
  4. Tap Delete my account and confirm your choice. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

Alternative method

If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by sending an email to [email protected] from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.

Data deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently erased:

  • User profile (display name, email, profile picture, preferences)
  • Tournament participation history and registrations
  • Social data (follows, followers, activity feed, availability)
  • Collectibles inventory, quest progress and login streaks
  • Private messages and conversations
  • Published tournament photos

Data retained

Some data may be retained after your account is deleted:

  • Anonymized data for statistical purposes (participation counts, unidentified reviews) — this data can no longer be linked to you.
  • Billing data related to a Pro subscription, retained for the legal accounting retention period (10 years) in accordance with French law.

Deletion timeline

Deletion from the app takes effect immediately (soft delete). Data is permanently purged from our servers within 30 days. During this period, data is no longer accessible or visible to other users.
